Recycle Your Cell Phones at JOURNEYS OF LIFE
 Journeys of Life serves as a drop-off location for used cells phones benefiting The Womens Center and Shelter of Pittsburgh. Cell phones no longer in services can be brought to Journeys for recycling.
Simply bring your phone to Journeys. We will be happy to give you a tax deduction form for your records. We deliver the phones to the Shelter so that they can be used to benefit the women who use the services of the Center.
This is just one more way that Journeys of Life partners with the community to make Pittsburgh a better place. Please tell you family and friends about this community service offered by Journeys of Life.

There are so many little things in life that we take for granted. Having a full bar of soap, using a new tooth brush, being able to wash your hair with real shampoo! These are all thing I know I took for granted until I met some woman who had just arrived at POWER (PA Organization for Women in Early Recovery) halfway house. Many times these women arrive at the house have little more than the clothes on their back let alone tooth paste.
You can help make a difference in the lives of these women who are newly clean and sober. Journeys collects shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion, tooth paste & brushes and other forms of personal hygeine products for women. You can help by donating all those unopened hotel samples you have accumulated along the way. I try to add a few bottles of shampoo to my weekly grocery shop. Office groups have held a drive for Presents for POWER.
Just bring you donations to Journeys and we will make sure that they get to the women in the welcome packets given to each lady on arrival. Thank you for helping Journeys help others!
