I had it all planned out. I had great ideas about a Thanksgiving letter with my thoughts on Black Friday, how you could go to the malls and save on the limited numbers of items that the corporate managers wanted you to buy, or come to Journeys of Life with no crazy hours, no crazy lines, just a nice and easy relaxed time for shopping with great selection, fair prices and great service. I also had planned on sending you a photo array of great holiday gift ideas we have collected for you at Journeys. Then the flu hit and I was down for the count for two weeks including a few days at Shadyside Hospital. I have not been that sick for a long time! I am now feeling so much better but I basically lost two weeks at one of the most important retail times of the year.
So, I have some catching up to do starting with The Twelve Days of Christmas Sale which you will read about below. I have several other promotions and surprises up my sleeve. Help Us Help Others
This holiday season we are accepting donations for phone cards for the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. We asked a recently returned GI what we could do that would make a difference to our service men and women and sending the gift of a phone call home was high on the list. Journeys of Life will match all donations made by our customers during December.
