What a wonderful celebration we had for Journeys of Life's 20th Anniversary. Thank you to all the friends and customers who came by to congratulate us on this milestone. Congratulations to Hannah Fenster for winning the drawing to receive 20% off her purchases through the end of 2009.

A highlight of the weekend was a surprise visit from Shadyside's City Councilman Bill Peduto. He presented me with a Proclamation for the 20 years of service we have provided to the people of Shadyside and beyond. And June 19th was declared Journeys of Life Day in the City of Pittsburgh. How cool is that?

School is out and vacation time is at hand for many of us. Please save some time for one of the many workshops and events we will be having at Journeys throughout the summer months. I am off to Denver to find new goodies for the store. Watch for info on new arrivals in the weeks to come. I hope you will be plesantly surprised.
