So where were you when Journeys of Life opened ?
It was Memorial Day weekend 1989 when the doors of our second floor walkup on Aiken Avenue were opened at 10am. The book order had not arrived so the shelves were labeled with signs about the books that would be there later. We used a cash register, tracked the products manually and painstakingly merchandized all 450 square feet. Ed Haller was 10, Amy 8 and Hal and I were 20 years younger !
The celebration happens this weekend !
Join us for all the festivities. You are guaranteed a minimum of 20% off your purchases on Saturday and Sunday with a possible discount up to 40%. There will be refreshments, door prizes and free mini readings. Don't miss it!
