The change in temperature and the dusting of snow has certainly brought home the fact that Christmas is just a few weeks away. I smiled when I saw those first little flakes the other day. You can take a girl out of New England but cannot take that wonder of the first snow out of the girl! I love the twinkling lights when there has been a dusting, just enough snow to make the trees and bushes look like so magical. Hal, on the other hand, retreats to a room where he does not have to look outside. It still amazes me how different we are yet have managed to survive and thrive for almost 35 years together.

Finally, last season we collected donations for Phone Cards for the troops overseas. We got a wonderful letter from a group of service men and women aboard a submarine who received our gifts. They were so appreciative that we decided to do it again this year. Please help us help those who risk their lives to keep us safe.

Journeys of Life is now open longer for your holiday shopping.

Monday - Friday : 10:00am - 8:00 pm
Saturday : 10:00am - 5:30pm
Sunday : 11:00am - 6:00pm

We will close at 5pm Christmas Eve and New Years Eve
Closed Christmas and New Years Day
Open at 10:00am Sunday, December 26th.
