How did it get to be April already?  It just somehow crept up on me.  There are lots of things happening in April at Journeys and in Pittsburgh that I need time and space to tell you about.   So, this is a quick email about the first week of April.  I need a little more time to work on a complete newsletter with all the exciting particulars for the rest of the month.  April is traditionally our time for the demo sale, books by the pound, spring clearance sale and more.  Watch for all the particulars and dates for these events and more to arrive in your 'inbox' next week.  So until then - enjoy our April Fool's celebration.

APRIL FOOLS' DAY

Although not a holiday in its own right, this notable day is celebrated in many countries by carrying out practical jokes on friends, family and neighbors.  It is believed to have begun when over anxious gardeners began planting crops on April 1st rather than the traditional May Day (May 1st) and losing their labors to frost thus considered fools.
