Jane Critchfield
The birth of my first child in 1983 sparked my interest and subsequent passion for natural and vibrational medicine which then led to in-depth studies of homeopathy and flower essences. I co-founded the Homeopathic Society of Greater Pittsburgh in 1986 and the Perelandra Study Group of Pittsburgh in 2001 whose missions have been to provide resources and education in energetic medicine for the general public.
I currently facilitate a study group for the Homeopathic Society of Greater Pittsburgh which meets at the Squirrel Hill Family Wellness Center on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. I am assistant director of the American Medical College of Homeopathy East which offers a 6 month in-depth course of study “Homeopathy First Aid & Acute Care” at the Nuin Center in Highland Park.
I have always been drawn to healing modalities which offer people the opportunity take an active role in their health and healing. Homeopathy and flower essences have always been safe and natural alternatives to conventional pharmaceuticals, easily learned and used by anyone. Add the beauty and simplicity of Reiki healing, to this quotient and you've got an extensive tool chest of resources for self and family health care including your pets. All these vibrational remedies complement and enhance traditional health care.
